Natus Vincere's AWS Journey - Stabilizing an Esports Tech Ecosystem

Natus Vincere, a prominent esports organization established in 2009, has built a reputation in competitive gaming while navigating a uniquely challenging financial landscape. Their revenue model is inherently unpredictable, directly tied to tournament performances and competitive success. This volatile environment creates significant challenges in technological infrastructure and strategic planning, with funding and resources fluctuating based on team achievements in international esports competitions.

Challenges 

The organization experienced profound operational difficulties stemming from its dynamic structure. Frequent staff turnover disrupted consistent technology management, creating fragmented infrastructure development processes. Technical teams would implement AWS configurations in isolation, focusing on immediate service needs without considering comprehensive system architecture.
